Finally it's the Holidays!!

So it was finally time for the Holidays and we went to a local tree farm to pick out a tree. Unfortunately fir trees don't grow here so we had to pick one that was already cut. We were also trying to get some extra branches for a Girl Scout project and they were very nice when I told them and they gave us a whole big bunch of them. If you are in the market for a tree, Jordan Lake Tree farm is the place to go!!

OK...don't adjust your monitor. I know this is a strange sight, but I am just considering it one of those "Christmas Miracles" All 3 of my children smiling AND hugging without fighting!!! Yes Virginia....there really is a Santa!!!

NEW YEAR'S EVE

We had a nice relaxing new year's eve at home. The girls all wore their American Girl PJ's that matched their dolls. We watched movies, ate snacky food and played Pirates of the Caribbean Scene It (I won both games...woo hoo...Go ME!!)

On New Year's day we packed up and drove across the state to Asheville to visit Kevin's Grandparents. Grandpa was SOOO happy to have someone to play with. We weren't there 30 minutes before he and Alyssa were on the floor playing with the My Litte Ponies!!

For Christmas we gave Grandpa a set of lincoln logs. He and Gabrielle had a great time building houses!

So that's it...that's what we have been up to lately!! We are still busy with lots of activities. We are doing lots of fun stuff with Girl Scouts, Isabella has more meets coming up as well as a performace with the Ensemble. Stay tuned and I hope to stay more up to date now!!
